No Bun Swiss and Avo Burgers

Serves 4

Cook Time: 10 min.


  • 4 ground beef patties
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 head Boston or iceberg lettuce


  1. Prepare lettuce leaves & toppings.
  2. Pre-heat grill or heat stovetop skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook patties 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook 3-4 min. more, to desired doneness.
  4. Place a slice of cheese on top of each patty.
  5. Remove patties from grill/stove and let cool a few minutes.

To Plate

Place patties in lettuce wraps with sliced avocado. Add your favorite condiments such as: dill pickles, mustard, mayo made with avocado oil, and/or sugar-free ketchup. Also delicious with oopsie rolls (aka cloud bread).
